According to the exam guidelines, they will give

Correct answer - 4 marks

Wrong answer- (-1) marks

Unanswered question- 0 marks

Exam: 3 hrs

Type of questions: MCQs and numerical questions.

There is two papers: paper1 and paper2

Paper1 consists of 90 questions and 20 questions asked in section A and 10 questions in section B.

Paper2 consists of A&B,

Paper2A: can be attempted 77/82 questions

Paper2B: can be attempted 100/105 questions

You can answer totally 75 questions for each subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics. You will answer 20 questions in section A and 5 questions in section B this is in paper1.

Dear aspirant !
From 2021, jee main had got a new format of answering any five questions out of ten numerical questions. JEE main is an entrance exam for various engineering and artitechure colleges
In case of online mode of exam , even if you try to answer more then 5 questions then there a reminder occurs and you will not be allowed to enter any answer to that question.
However in your OMR sheet , if you attend more than five ques then only first five will be considered for the marking .There will be no problem.
