Hi!

If you have not locked your choices the choices will obviously get unlock the choices are not now available at job portals you just have to do one thing again go to the portal select the choices again and then save it also because until and unless you will not going to save it again be in the reset state.

thank you

Hello,

If you have added all your choices and arranged them into a specific order, then if you didn't locked your choices and the date has gone.

So the order in which you left the choices are automatically saved.

So no point of worrying, but you should keep this in mind that those choices would be final and your seat allotments would be based on those choices only.

ThankYou!

Regards!

Hey Wasif,

If you do not lock the choices in your tnea engineering counselling you may have difficulty in getting proper college of your choice.

The entry of choices and locking is held as per the ranks and aggregate marks obtained by the candidates. Round 1 of TNEA counselling was held from July 3 to 12 for ranks 1 to 9872.

Locking choices helps to get a good college of your choice according to your rank.

If you haven't filled please follow these steps below to fill in your choices.

Step 1 – Login: In this step candidates have to login using their TNEA credentials and then click on ‘Sign In’ button.

Step 2 – View Personal Details: Check the personal details entered during the registration and click on ‘Next’ button

Step 3 – Payment: Candidates have to pay Rs. 5000 (Gen) and Rs. 1000 (SC/ST)  as a counselling fee through online payment or demand draft

Step 4 – Add/Remove choices: In this step, candidates have to add their preferences of colleges and courses by clicking on ‘Add choices’

Step 5 – Rearrange the choices: Candidates must rearrange their preferences as per their district, branch name, college name and code.

Step 6 – Choice Lock: After adding/removing choices, candidates have to lock their choices. In the step candidates have click on ‘Sent OTP’. Once choices are locking it cannot be changed.

Step 7 – Tentative Seat Allotment: Once candidates have locked their choices, tentative TNEA seat allotment will be made based on the rank and preferences of the candidates.

TNEA counselling 2019 will comprise of four rounds. Each round will be held over 5 days where candidates will have three days to enter their tentative option (college/course). The tentative seat allotment for Round 2 is already released on July 16, 2019. The candidates have to confirm the tentative TNEA 2019 seat allotment by entering their login credentials within two days.

Hope this helps.

All the best.
