percentile score is based on performance of all candidates for any particular exam, percentile score is not the exact score , it shows the status of candidates. percentile  is the  calculation process  of the percentage of candidates below a candidate on the rank/ merit list, for example, suppose a candidate gets 90 percentile,  it indicates that 90 percent of the candidates participates in the examination with that candidate  scored less than him/her. XAT percentile is a measure for enlisting  candidates based on their performance.
