hi,

percentile score is based on performance of all candidates for any particular exam, percentile score is not the exact score , it shows the status of candidates. percentile  is the  calculation process  of the percentage of candidates below a candidate on the rank/ merit list, for example, suppose a candidate gets 90 percentile,  it indicates that 90 percent of the candidates participates in the examination with that candidate  scored less than him/her. XAT percentile is a measure for enlisting  candidates based on their performance. Therefore, those who have passed 90 percent or more in XAT considers to the first 10 percent of the candidates in the qualifying list. for details of score vs percentile of xat refer to our article at below link:
