like private colleges conduct their own entanceexam and then they conduct personal interviews on that basis admission are done 

colleges like symbosis, viteee,mit,

if you see government proces its is based on jee and cet results  as well as boards marks so they conduct 4 merit list on that process you will get admission

colleges like kj somiya ,vjti,dy patil etc

Different colleges have different admission process for admission for Btech course. The admission process varies from state to state too. One of the most widely accepted entrance exam score is JEE Mains. For admission in top colleges like IITs, NITs, IIITs and Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), you need to go for JEE Mains/JEE Advanced. There are several states with different admission process for btech admissions like MH CET, WB JEE, COMEDK, OJEE etc. There are institute level exams too like BITSAT- for all campuses of BITS, MUOET for Manipal University, E- for campuses of VIT. You can get admission to b.tech in 2 ways.

1. Through state level exam called MH CET 2019

2. You can also apply by qualifying the JEE Main examination.

On qualifying JEE MAINS, you will receive a rank and with the help of that rank you can get admitted to the respective college.
