The difference between B.A. Economics and Economics Honors is that  in BA Economics, it will cover the basics of Economics whereas Economics Honors, It will cover in depth knowledge about economics.

If you want to pursue a career in Economics, You should go for B.A Economics (hon). After postgraduation programme you can get more opportunies. A Graduate or post graduate in economics can find entry level jobs in banking, finance, insurance, stock market, sales, and marketing and many other fields.
Below the list of top colleges for Economic Honors.
•        Loyola College, Chennai
•        Christ University, Bangalore
•        Madras Christian College, Chennai
Good Luck!

Dear

There is no much difference in course module but could be difference due to study methodology and extra subjects offer by few Universities.

Moreover you will study Macro, micro , Statistics tools and analytical skills .

Do check the course structure of the particular university in which you want to apply.

All the best
