All the three are management entrance examinations. But they are different in the sense that different colleges accept their scores. CAT scores are accepted by IIMs and other colleges like FMS, MDI, NMIMS etc. XAT is for XLRI, XIMB and other Xavier's colleges. For MAT there are 160+ colleges that accept it's scores. The formats are also different for the three exams.
