Hi Akshit,

Offline (Paper Based Test or PBT), online (Computer Based Test or CBT), and remote proctored (Internet Based Test or IBT) versions of the MAT are available. Candidates have the option of taking the exam in whichever mode they desire. The fees, exam schedule, and syllabus are the same for all three options, but the exam dates varies.

Aspirants in the PBT mode receive a question paper and an OMR sheet to mark their answers, whilst applicants in the CBT mode take the test on a computer system. The PBT and CBT tests are held on separate days and at different locations. For IBT option, students must arrange for their own laptop to take the exam remotely rather than in the exam centres.
