Hello


The application form of JEE Main 2020 has been released. The last date to apply is 30th September 2019.


New changes has been announced in the JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern.


JEE Main 2020 exam would be conducted in Computer-based mode. Duration of the exam is 3 hours.
Questions in the exam will be asked from the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 25 questions will be asked from each subject. There will be total of 75 questions. Paper 1 will comprise of multiple choice questions and numerical questions.


Type of Questions

Paper 1 will comprise of multiple choice questions and numerical questions.
Out of the 25 questions (in each subject), 20 questions will be objective type and 5 Numerical questions with numerical value as answer.


Marking Scheme

For Multiple Choice Questions, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and there will be negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.


For answer with numeric value, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 0 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.


Total marks of the exam will be 300 marks.

Candidates can appear for the examination in English or Hindi (Candidates from Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli can opt for Gujarati as well).

Hii aspirants 

Let me clear your doubt. 

This year jee main Paper 1 will comprise of multiple choice questions and numerical questions and consist of 3 subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will be given equal weightage with 20 MCQs and 5 numerical questions and total marks for JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 is yet to be announced.
