After completing BA Economics you can find the jobs both in public and private sectors. You can find opportunity with financial sectors, banks, educational institutes, research centres, stock markets, insurance sector etc.

But as a Graduate only the basic job like studying the files and giving your suggestions in writing you will be given as an Economist or other opportunities so I would suggest you to pursue Masters degree in economics like MA Economcs or MBA. You can also go for PG Diploma in banking and Finance.
