Dear student

As your PCB score in STD xii is 150 , you are eligible for neet 2021

Eligibility criteria for neet 2021

Candidates must have completed 17 years of age

The decision on upper age limit is pending so all candidates are provisionally eligible to apply for neet 2021.

The class xii percentage required for neet 2021 exam is separate for each category ,

for ur -50%

For obc/SC/st-40%

Pwd -45%

Maximum attempts - there are no restrictions on maximum neet attempt limit

Hence if your PCB score is 50% then you are eligible for neet 2021

Hi

It's completely ok dear even if you have got 48.5 % in your class 12th board examination in overall, there will be no problem in getting admission .

This is because,

Your overall % obtained by you in  class 12th is not considered for Neet eligibility criteria , only your aggregate % in PCB is taken in account for considering your eligibility as :-

Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible for neet, you should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Now,

You belong to general category and

Your aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  is

=   150

=( 150  /  300  *  100 )%

= 50 % ,so you are definitely eligible  for neet  2021 examination  and after qualifying Neet examination can get admission in Medical Colleges as well.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
