Here are the common books  and their for 1st year btech :-

Applied chemistry :

Chemistry from First Principles by Jan C. A. Boeyens

Applied Mathematics :

Methods of Applied Mathematics written by Francis Hildebrand

Applied physics :

An Introduction to Spacetime Physics by Steve Adams.

It will be easy if you clearly mention your branch, because there are some fundamental subjects related to your branch in first year. Connect with your seniors or faculty members then can help you.You will be provided with syllabus book or sheet, in that you can see your syllabus and the preffered books for that subject, you can get them from library.
