IIFT 2018 Process

Step 1: Fill in the Application form

To be able to appear for IIFT, aspirants need to fill the application form. Candidates can choose to fill the application form in two modes- online or offline. Candidates must make sure that they check eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Foreign candidates need to have a validGMATscore.

The application fee for candidates belonging to General/OBC categories is Rs 1550, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories is Rs 775, and for Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI candidates is US$ 80 (INR Rs 4500).

Step 2: Download IIFT 2018 Admit Card

Test-takers can download the admit cards from the official website of IIFT. To download the admit card, candidates are required to fill in their login details. Details regarding the exam and test centres shall be mentioned on the hall ticket.

Step 3: Appear for IIFT 2018

Candidates who fill the application form successfully need to appear for IIFT exam. The exam will be held on November 26, 2017. Candidates are required to solve 123 multiple choice questions from sections like English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Analysis.

Step 4: Check IIFT 2018 Result

IIFT result is expected to be declared within one month from the date of exam, i.e. in December, 2017. Candidates can check the result on the official website by entering their Roll Number and Date of Birth. It is advised to take a printout of the scorecard for further references.

Step 5: Essay Writing, GD and PI

Candidates who clear IIFT 2018 will be further called for Essay Writing, GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) rounds. For Essay Writing, candidates will be provided a topic related to General or business affairs. The average time allotted to draft an essay of around 300 words is 20 minutes.

Candidates who clear the Essay Writing round enter the next round i.e. is the GD round. Here candidates are divided into groups of 10-12 and given a topic. Candidates are expected to take initiative, communicate efficiently and present their ideas effectively.

Last is the PI round where the panelist asks questions to the candidate.

IIFT – Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is one of the best management schools in India. The IIFT entrance exam is usually held in the month of December. Last year, it was held on December 3, 2017. • Candidates must have a three-year bachelor’s degree from a recognised Institute

• Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply. They have to submit certifications of their last semester to prove they are graduating in the current year

• According to IIFT 2018 Eligibility Criteria, there is no age limit for candidates, meaning candidates of any age can take the IIFT entrance examination

Hello Vishal, First let me inform you something... IIFT demands graduate candidate with 50% (Pursuing graduation candidate can also apply) and there is no age limit...
