Hi,

DAF means detailed Application Form.Every student who clears prelims has to fill DAF after two weeks of results of prelims. DAF is very crucial document and it determines everything from your career to posting.Thats why special care is needed while filling the DAF.

Hey

DAF is the Detailed Application Form that candidates must fill and upload online on the UPSC official website to apply for the mains exam.

For admission to the Civil Services Mains Examination, all the candidates who have qualified should fill up the DAF online and submit the same for admission to the UPSC Mains Examination.UPSC may ask you to fill as part of DAF (before Mains) or as Addendum to DAF (after Mains). The procedure can vary year-to-year.
