For government funded colleges, the application process starts after the all india ranks and result of board exams are declared whereas for most of the private colleges the application process starts from anywhere between last week of April to May. For individual colleges which do not have a joint counselling procedure (as in the case of most of the government colleges) will start early and will probably have to check there exact dates and procedures on respective websites of the institutions, Good Luck!
