The jee mains counselling is the same done by joint seat allocation authority(JOSAA), .during this counselling, one can fill the colleges and the desired courses according to (in the list) preferences. The josaa counselling is the same platform on which counselling takes place for admission into iits, nits ,iiits and other private institutions which acknowledge jee mains and jee advanced as their modes of admission. So the counselling will start altogether online once the jee advanced scores are declared .

All documents required for the counselling are as follows:

• Provisional JoSAA Seat Allotment Letter 2019
• Two Passport size photographs
• Candidate Undertaking
• Photo Identity Card (valid)
• Original JEE Advanced Admit Card 2019
• Proof of Seat Acceptance fee payment by e-challan or SBI Net banking
• Date of Birth Proof (10th Standard Mark Sheet)
• Class 12th (or equivalent) Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate
• Medical Certificate
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Certificate for PwD (if applicable)

Jee main josaa counseling starts on second week of June .
You have to register in josaa counseling website .
You have to choose college and branch as per your rank .
After result of counseling you have to pay seat acceptance fee and you will have to go to the nearest center for documents verification then after you can take admission .
