Yes. The registration for CPT Exam will definitely be required in order to appear for the exam. Only those candidates who are already enrolled in CPT course will be able to register for CPT exam for December session. 

The registrations for December 2018 session CA CPT exam will most likely begin in the month of October 2018.

The applications for CA CPT for June 2018 session are going to begin from April 4, 2018. For, December 2018 session, the applications of CA CPT will most likely begin in the first week of October 2018.
