Hi

NEET examination is held after class 12th exams.

So NEET registration form is filled during academic year of class 12th

Basic eligibility for NEET is-

  • 10+2 aggregate of 50 percent-UR category
  • 10+2 aggregate of 40 percent- SC/ST/ OBC category
  • Candidate must be 17 years old or more

Hello,

To be eligible for NEET candidate should have passed their 10+2 level or should be giving their 10+2 level exams. You cannot fill NEET forms after your 10th class. The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the NEET qualification guidelines 2022 for medical aspirants.  Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31 and Candidates must have passed 10+2 or appearing in 10+2  with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. There are no restrictions on the maximum NEET attempt limit.

Hello Aspirant,

You can fill up the NEET UG Application form while appearing for class 12th examinations or after passing class 12th examinations. This because you will get into an undergraduate course for which class 12th qualification is required.


NEET UG eligibility criteria is given below :-


** You must have passed/appearing 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st of an examination year, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by the examination year if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.
