As NTA has taken up the responsibility of conducting JEE it conducts JEE twicw in a year. One during January and another during April. So you can attempt twice.
The application for January 2020 opens around September 2019 and for April 2020, it would be around February. The website accepts application for nearly one month. You can check the website of NTA or https://jeemain.nic.in/webinfo/Public/Home.aspx for notification.
