It depends on the performance of college over the year. The college also has to go under a series of tests and checking to get a Autonomous designation.
If you want to know then better go and ask in the admission department of the college. If they are preparing for University. The college needs to complete it's 20 years and then atleast after 1 or 2 years the college can go for Autonomous.
