The exam schedule varies for every board. Since you have not mentioned which board you are talking about, so i cannot tell you exact date and schedule. However, If you are talking about 10th CBSE board, then there exam in 2020 was scheduled from  February 15 . But for 2021 the exam schedule has not been announced yet. It is expected that CBSE exam date 2021 Class 10 for theory may fall tentatively between March 15 and April 20, 2021.

I would like to tell you that the exams were started from March most probably but due to covid 19 pandemic it was stopped as the virus was declared pandemic.
