Hello Aspirant, 

You will legally be a student of a college when the procedure of your admission gets completed and it involves step like name in merit list, online or offline counselling, documents verification, college registration and some formalities from college side. When these gets finished, you are now a student of alloted college and can start classes from the very first date of commencement of classes.
