National Defense Academy (NDA)  is a national level exam administered by UPSC for admission  to the Army, Navy and Air force wings of NDA.

The UPSC has released a revised exam calendar, like all recruitment examinations NDA (I) was postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic. NDA (I) and NDA (II)  will be held on September 6, 2020 i.e a common examination for both NDA &NA (I) and NDA &NA (II) Candidates who have applied for NDA(I) need not apply for NDA (II). The last date for registration was June 30, 2020.

The NDA & NA (I) recruitment notification was released  for a total of 418 vacancies out of which 370 vacancies are for NDA (208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 120 for Airforce).

the NDA 1 and NDA 2 2020 both are scheduled to be held on september 06 , 2020 and exam will be conducted in offline mode , there will be two stages one is written exam and other one is SSB interview
