NEP has not been implemented in Maharashtra .
Though discussions with researchers, education experts are underway.
According to the State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that National Education Policy (NEP) has several new concepts, for which the state government will have to amend the existing laws.And as per some of the sources of the Central Government they told that the Government is planning to complete the initial phase of NEP by April 2022.

So as of now, decisions are awaited by the government.You can follow the news channels to stay updated in this regards.
