Refund will be credit back to your account after completion of counselling .
It will be done automatically.
This fee will be refunded to the institution where the candidate has taken admission and will be adjusted against the first year annual fee.

according to the mcc:

" Security amount will be refunded only after the completion of all rounds of Counseling. MCC will notify about the completion counselling on their web-site “www.mcc.nic.in”. The Financial Custodian will initiate the refund of security deposit within 15 days of such notification and complete within 30 days of such notification ".

after the completion of counselling a notice regarding refund will be put of and within a span of 30 days you money will be refunded.
