I think you are talking about admission in top MBA colleges like IIMs, MDI, XLRI, etc. To get admission in most of the top MBA colleges, you have to give and clear the CAT exam. The registration process usually starts in the first week of August and ends by last week of September.

There are many other exams also through which you can apply for MBA in top colleges like XAT, NMAT, SNAP, GMAT, etc. You must check the exam accepted by the particular college in which you want to take the admission.

The exam for the admission to course MBA in various IIMs and other B- Schools  is Common Admission Test (CAT). It is held every year in the month of November. The official notice for CAT 2019 is likely to be announced by July 27th, 2019. And tentatively the registration starts from 5th July, 2019.
