Hi Neeraj. It seems to me you have asked an incomplete questions. Semester classes, days and examination vary from colleges to colleges. But it is convenient to divide semester as odd and even basis. Usually Odd semesters are over by December- January for most of the college's. The result can be expected in  January end or Feb first-second week.

However an institute might take time to provide the original semester results due to formalities. Therefore marks are announced prior to that through online portal and later you can fetch your marksheet. This is what's happening in most of the college's irrespective of whatever course you choose
