Hello dear,
As per government officials New Education Policy will implement by several tiers that is part by part from 2021.
First they will try this method in selective universities and later on it will be started everywhere else.
There will be board exams of 10th and 12th this year in same format. In NEP board exam's pattern will be change, you will know details later
