My buddy, you have the option to repeat class 12th from any board, but I really suggest that you do not waste your one year by repeating the same class. You'll just squander your one-year allowance. If you want to get into IIT or any medical school, you should enrol in coaching rather than retaking the 12th grade exam. Every college now has its own admission test, so start studying for them as soon as possible. The percentage obtained in the 12th grade is not very significant.

And yes, school teachers have got nothing to do in this.
