Response sheet is a sheet where some question questions are asked from you and you need to provide answers to them. Eg. forms

As of now, since it is not mentioned specifically which response sheet are you talking about. So, I am providing a general use of asterisk in response sheet.

1. If it is any kind of form(application, school/college admission form) then (*) sign in front of the question implies that the question is mandatory to answer or else if there is any other instruction it would be mentioned in the sheet

2. The sheet may also use some abbreviations the full form/ description of which could be provided with use of asterisk.
