The counselling of VITEEE 2017 will be conducted tentatively in 2 phases Phase I and Phase II for candidates who have appeared in the online engineering entrance exam conducted by VIT University for admission to its Chennai and Vellore campuses. VITEEE 2017 Counselling will be done on different dates based on candidates ranks, ie: candidates within a certain range of ranks are called for appearing in VITEEE counselling 2017 on different dates.

where they would be called.. in vellore or chennai or any other place in india.

You will be called as per the rank list declared by them as they will release a rank range and the venue, according to that only you will have to go there.
