Yes, BHU does offer one year LLM program.

Eligibility Criteria is as follows-

Candidates need to have passed graduation in law either LLB course or integrated law program  recognized by BCI with 50% aggregate.

Candidate should not be more than 35 years old on 1st July of admission year.

Admission process takes place on the basis of merit of BHU PET

Yes, BHU provide LLM( one year degree ) on completion of two semesters in the programme. Admission to all the LL.M. One Year programme in the Faculty of Law shall be made on merit in the PET (Post-graduate Entrance Test).  The LL.M. One Year programmes shall have the status of regular and special courses of study, respectively. A candidate seeking admission shall be required to make separate application for consideration of admission in the said programme.

Eligibility:

1. A candidate shall be eligible for appearing in the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PET) leading to admission to LL.M. (One Year) Degree Programme Semester I, if he or she has passed the following:
   Admission to LL.M. One Year Degree Course
   LL.B. or equivalent degree securing a minimum or 50 % marks in aggregate considering all the papers in Three Year: Five Year LL.B. Degree Course recognised by the Bar Council of India.
2. The applicant should not be more than 35 years of age on July 1st of the year of seeking admission.
