Please mention the college's name you are talking about. 

Generally the internship period starts just after the decrelation of last year's final results. As soon as results are out, within 1 or 2 weeks students get their internship forms and finally started doing so (in month of March or April).

But,different colleges have different rules and schedules too, so mention college name to know exact details.
