Yes definitely there a huge difference, when you don't have the ews  certificate, as you can see in the cut off for jee advance for general it is 90.36...

While for ews it is 70.6....hence you can imagine this while seat allocation too during counseling, you might get a better branche of better nit if you have the ews reservation.
