Gk section of CMAT basically include

• current events & Happenings, including international affairs
• Arts & culture ,Sports
• also some about Books their authors , Awards , specialy sport awards. do focus on indian cultural awards.
• Also in Gk they may ask you to identify the person so I suggest you to read news paper daily
• for CMAT there are many books available in the market from various publications like Arihant publications, Disha publications. You can refer to those
• best and effective strategy i will suggest is to go online and search for GK current affairs. there are various online content for static Gk.
• its very important section so choose questions well. only answer if you are 70-80% sure about answer

For preparing Current GK you can prefer Newspapers like The Hindus, The Indian Express etc. Magazines etc.

Read and understand the important terms used in economics and banking and follow a weekly or fortnightly business magazine to stay updated with the latest information.

For Static GK you can prefer Arihant Publication.
