Choice of book is depends person to person. But following books are preferred by most of the CAT aspirants

Quant - If you are not in touch with QA or have NOT studied maths at 12th level , then Nishit Sinha is best bet. It is simple because of the fact that the concepts are explained well in a lucid way to understand. It will help you in gaining stronghold over Quant step by step.

For LRDI - Again, my choice is Nishit Sinha book. One single book for for LR and DI, and you are prepared to face the Mock CATs.

VA-RC:

For Vocabulary: Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis

For enhancing the reading speed, any novel and newspaper and anything you can read will be good enough.

For Grammar: Normal Grammar Rules from Wren and Martin.
