I think HCV is simple to understand, while language for NCERT is a little bit difficult in terms language, The level of questions is good in both of the books, But there are some advanced questions in HCV and it will help you to understand the concept easily, Better if you focus on HCV more and then read NCERT for just more understanding the concept. You can also solve some selected questions from NCERT.
