XAT is conducted for a duration of 180 minutes carrying 100 questions in online mode from sections such as

General Knowledge consists of General Knowledge,Current Affairs,History,Film & Television,National Capital,Politics,Business,Economics,Science,National Issues,Personality,Sports,Important dates,Ecosystem and Diversity,Currency,Films,Books & Authors,Culture,Geography etc.

Recommended Books : Aspirant can refer newspapers and magazines such as Competition Success Review/Economic Times/The Financial Times/Business Today/Business World/Hindu Business Line/Financial Express

Quantitative Ability and Data  Interpretation consists of algebra/arithmetic/data interpretation and analysis

for each question one mark is awarded and 0.25 mark is deducted for each incorrect attempt, 0.10 marks is deducted for more than 8 unattempted questions, there is no negative marking scheme in GK section.
