i would say you to take syllabus provided on MPSC website and visit ncert books site. You can just see which books contain what MPSC is required as per syllabus.

 Another way:

there are many books available in market in the name of ncert gist both in English and Marathi. If you have enough time then go for ncert or gist type books are enough too.
