You can outshine in any branch if you have curiosity in that. So I would propose you to understand before opting for any branch and see if you can associate yourself with any one of them and if you can find interest. Both branches are equally decent, it is you who will interpret the disparities.

There are a plenitude of similar topics in both the streams. While ECE has a little more preference towards programming when compared to EEE. EEE is best fulfilled if you have an attraction towards studying electrical engineering.

Now, with the present circumstances and the needs of various firms, more scope in ECE is anticipated because the pressure in core electrical is low. If you are changing positions to the software realm ,ECE would be a bit easier choice compared to EEE.

If you are in a dilemma for choosing between these branches, my opinion would be that you should go for the ECE branch. Just take EEE without any second thought if you have passion for that field.
