All the branches are good in engineering it's totally depends on your interest.

If we compare the scope of the branches then ECE is the most demanding branch followed by mechanical and electrical.

You can check the scope of all the three branches below-

ECE- The average salary of an Electronics and Communication degree holder is between INR 3.5 lakh and INR 4.5 lakh per annum. Fresher candidates usually get a starting salary of INR 20,000 to INR 30,000 per month depending upon their interview performance and knowledge. The salary package offered to an IIT graduate is on higher side – the average salary is INR 10.55 lakh per annum and maximum is INR 25 lakh per annum.

Mechanical- The typical salary range of a Mechanical Engineer range between INR 10,000 and INR 25, 000/- However, the salary differs as per the location, industry type, company level. If you are hired by a Multinational Company, you can expect high salary package. Similarly, good campus placements also fetch better salary packages.

Additionally, some companies offer salary on the basis of your skills, experience, expertise and the nature of roles and responsibilities handled previously. Generally, highly skilled and professional mechanical engineers can bag as high as an annual CTC of INR 40,000 – 45, 000 lacs.

Electrical- The salary range of electrical engineers differs as per industry, location and their qualifications. An electrical engineer earns an average salary of INR 426, 384 per annum. Hi

The branch of engineering which is better is the one in which your interest lies. If you do have an inclination towards mechanics opt for mechanical engineering and if you have interest in electrical things then go for electrical and electronics.
