Dear aspirant,
Electronics and communication engineering branch is the better option than electronics an instrumental branch. Electronics and communication branch has more scope to get high paid jobs than electronics and instrumental branch. So electronics and communication branch has more future. Hope it helps you.
Thank you.

Hello,

Comparatively both the branches are same. Top IT companies wipro, TCS all provide good job opportunities to EI/EC engineers and in government dptt. also railway prefers EI/EC engineers. Starting Salary for average fresher student could be 2.2lakh-2.6lakh/annum. good knowledge and skills can even get you 3.6lakh-6lakh/annum.

Hello Aspirant!

Both the branches are quite important in their own right and both have great career prospects. What you should really consider while choosing an option is that what interests you the most. Because if you opt for something that you are not passionate about, then you won't be able to make anything of it, despite the various great prospects of the stream. So, go with what interests you the most. Get information about the two streams and see which one grabs your attention.
