There is no good or bad branch. It all depends on your interest. Every branch has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, CSE is considered number one in terms of placement but on the other hand, most CSE graduates work in IT or as analysts. 

Try to find a branch that interests you, because it is something you are choosing to do for the rest of your life.

Hello,you can go for ECE or EEE branch for studies other than CSE. They also have high scope. Information technology and CSE are nearly same exception some subjects may differ in your 3rd and 4rth year.

core branch and technical branch have high scope provided the candidate have skills. If someone have no efficient skills then which ever be the branch no industry will hire. Even they hire at first instant they will fire you soon if you dont improve. so Engineering is like this only.

Find one for you as per your interest so that you will be enough creative and gain skills.
