Both Civil engineering and Mechanical engineering are some of the oldest branches of engineering.

Comparing Civil engineering and Mechanical engineering and stating which one is better does not make sense because both of them provide different opportunities and also require different skill sets.

So you need to select the branch that you find more interesting.
