Hey aspirant

If you have EWS certification, then you can apply as EWS, else general. The norms for NIMCET for EWS category is-

At the time of applying online, the candidate has to submit/upload a certificate issued by a competent authority on or after April 1, 2019. However, the original certificate which is issued by the competent authority on or after April 1, 2020 has to be mandatorily produced at the time of reporting and admission.

Abhishek, EWS reservation is for those Candidates who belong to General Category and whose annual income is less than 8 lakhs per annum from all sources. These are also the Candidates who have not been claiming any other reservation like OBC,SC,ST, etc. So if you fall into this Category, you need to get a EWS certificate done and select EWS as your Category. If you do not fall into this Category, then you need to select General Category as your Category.
