The cut off for JEE Advance were almost close to 90%  but Yes you can get admission in the private universities .  Try to work hard and get more percentile in JEE mains seconds attempt . Based on the percentile your marks would be nearly 25- 35.

60 percentile in jee mains is not a ver desirable score as far as reputed colleges are concenred. This is because in this exam is known for having cut-throat competition where percentile is given with an accuracy of 0.001. And even the smallest difference in percentile means a large difference in the rank.

So, the reputed colleges for the mains exam, like the top NITs donot give admission in a percentile like this even from a caterogy like SC/ST or OBC.

however you can try for some of the private colleges and can get lucky if you belong to any of these categories.

Dear student,

Try some state level colleges and fillup their forms. Try to find out about other exams like NEST for admissions into NISER.

With 65 %tile, try home state NITs.

Some NITs have branches like biotechnlology and LIFE SCIENCE. You can get those branches even in 5lakh to 7lakh rank sometimes. Just don't lose hope.
