In the scope of industrialization, automation is a step beyond mechanization.there are many universities and colleges which provide M.TECH program in robotics and automatioN. but for that you need a base, I will recommend to take B.Tech degree in mechatronics which will get you a base of robotics and then while in your masters you will have a clarity of which field you want to get in to like control systems, automation, robotics which have its own branches so choose wisely.
