Both have their own merits and demirts.
Govt. colleges are easy going and the pattern of teaching is different as compared to a private college.
Private colleges offer a lot of extra curricular and other activities along with the core course.
Therefore i would suggest you to know the pros and cons of both and then choose as per your requirement.
