According to me both Amrita as well as Lovely Professional University have good academic, facility, faculty, research and placement history. There are many recruiters who partner with such institutes for having innovative students. When you ask to compare between LPU and Amrita, I think you should look for your admission and locality. Wherever you get into, these two institutes will provide you with much needed exposure to become a "professional" student. In a closer look, LPU seems to be ahead of Amrita.
