Sri Sairam Institute of Technology is a private engineering college in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 2009. The institute is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Sri Sairam Institute of Technology offers bachelor’s degree courses in various branches of engineering such as civil, electrical, electronics & communication and mechanical streams. The admission process into Sri Sairam Institute of Technology is done through Common Entrance Test conducted by Anna University every year.

Rajalakshmi Engineering College is an autonomous engineering college located in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 2009 under the aegis of Rajalakshmi Educational Trust. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines like Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology etc.

Admission to Rajalakshmi Engineering College is through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The CET is a national level entrance test. It is conducted in two parts, namely Paper I and Paper II. Candidates have to appear for both papers. The admission process takes place on the basis of merit obtained in these tests.

Overall both colleges are good. RAJALAKSHMI ENGINEERING COLLEGE have very good ratings for placements and studies. It provides great opportunity to the candidates.

SRI SAI RAM is also a decent college but have comparatively low placement performance.
