Harsha, to be honest, 500 wont get you a seat in a GMC with General Category. You have to notch it up and atleast score 600-650. AP NEET Counselling has 3 areas AU, SVU, OU. In 2018, under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:

Now this is 2018 data and cut offs change every year. So with a score of 600, if you belong to General Category, you might not get the Medical Colleges like Andhra Medical College, Venkateswara Medical College, etc. But you might get a seat in a Government Medical College. But if you can make it up to 650, you surely can get these 2 Colleges.
